All of our work is underpinned by a conviction that diverse and inclusive teams create more value and deliver better results for businesses and their stakeholders.
We have achieved full accreditation for the tenth year in a row from the FTSE Women Leaders Review and its predecessors for our work in helping to increase the representation of women on UK boards. In 2023, 25% of our chair appointments and 51% of our non-executive director appointments were female. 27% of our main board executive appointments and 64% of other senior executive appointments were female.
In 2018, we voluntarily implemented our first targets for ethnic diversity, which we have since built on. In 2023, 9% of our total UK placements were of candidates who identify as belonging to a UK ethnic minority. We partner with a variety of organisations to feed our pipelines of diverse candidates, including EPoC (Empowering People of Colour).
We invite our candidates to complete a questionnaire on a voluntary basis, which enables us to understand and build on the ethnic, gender, disability, neuro and socio-economic diversity of our candidate fields.
